He weighs your pieces in your own home, explains the value of each one and, if you accept, pays you on the spot by bank transfer. You do not leave home or lose sight of your jewellery, and you can have anyone you wish beside you.
Why is it better than going to a shop?
To go to a shop you have to travel, perhaps queue, and carry your jewellery through the street, which is uncomfortable if the pieces are valuable. At home, the process happens in front of you, calmly and in private, with no rush to decide.

Sending gold by post means losing sight of your pieces for days, trusting that they arrive safely and waiting for a valuation you do not witness, with no chance to ask questions. With a home visit, your pieces never leave your sight. You watch each one being weighed, you see the result of the carat test and you know the value before deciding anything, all in the same appointment.
What happens during the visit?
The valuer identifies himself when he arrives, with the name, photo and identification number we have already sent you before the appointment. He weighs each piece on a certified scale and checks the carats with a test that does not damage the jewel. He gives you the value in writing, with a receipt for each piece, and answers your questions. A relative, a neighbour or someone you trust can be with you, in person or by phone. A normal visit lasts about ten minutes.
Do I have to sell?
No. The visit and the valuation are free, whether you sell or not. You see the value in writing and decide calmly. If you say no, the valuer leaves and pays nothing, and you do not have to give any explanation.
How do I get paid if I accept?
By instant bank transfer. You see the payment confirmation on the spot, before the valuer leaves your home, so you do not have to wait for the money to arrive. You also have fourteen days from the visit to get your pieces back by returning the amount, with no explanations and no penalty.
