A Crisalda valuer comes to your home on the day and time we agree with you. He weighs and checks your jewellery at your table, shows you the value of each piece in writing and, if you accept, pays you by transfer on the spot. The visit is free and does not oblige you to sell.
What is a home visit?
It is the most comfortable way to sell gold, silver or a gold watch. There is no shop to find, no queue and no carrying your jewellery through the street. The valuer comes to you, calmly and in private.
How do I ask for an appointment?
By phone, on WhatsApp or with the form on this website. We call you and agree together on the day and time. Before the visit we send you the name, photo and identification number of the valuer. You can call us to confirm it before you open the door.
What happens during the visit?
- The valuer identifies himself on arrival.
- He weighs each piece at your table on a certified scale and checks the carats with a test that does not damage the jewel.
- Your jewellery never leaves your sight.
- He gives you the weight, the carats and the value of each piece in writing, with a receipt for each one.
- You decide. You can accept, say no, or stop the visit whenever you wish.
A normal visit lasts about ten minutes. A relative, a neighbour or someone you trust can be with you, in person or by phone.
How is the value calculated?
We start from today's gold price, published on this website, and from the weight and purity of each piece. The valuer sets the value after seeing each jewel and gives it in writing before you decide. If you have a written valuation from another gold buying company, we improve on it at the visit.
How and when do I get paid?
If you accept, we pay you by instant bank transfer. You see the confirmation before he leaves.
What if I change my mind?
You have fourteen days from the visit to get your pieces back, with no explanations and no penalty. You return the amount we paid and we hand them back as they left your home.
What do I need?
Only your DNI, NIE or passport, which he checks at the visit, as the law requires for any purchase of precious metals. Nothing else.
Can I sell some broken jewellery?
Yes. We accept old pieces and pieces in poor condition, and you need no invoice. What matters is the quality and weight of the gold or silver.
